I can’t believe April is coming to an end! It seems like just yesterday I was celebrating the fact that it was officially the month of Emily’s due date and now, we have a 3 week old! Stop the madness! Let’s take a look at my “taking stock” for April…

Making: Milk.
Cooking: Absolutely nothing as we continue to enjoy meals brought to us by friends and family
Drinking: Wine, again. Finally! That Napa Valley wine has been tempting me for 9 months!
Wanting: My body back
Looking: Forward to getting back behind the camera! So excited for this season!
Wishing: Emily could see me.
Reading: The Nursing Mother’s Companion
Enjoying: Watching Mike interact with Emily
Waiting: For Emily to be able to support her head…
Wondering: If Emily thinks I’m a good singer
Loving: Every grunt and sigh Emily makes
Hoping: This 70 degree weather sticks around a little longer this time…
Needing: To get outside more!
Wearing: Sweatpants for daysss! Have only been in jeans twice since I had Emily (and they were my maternity jeans!)
Thinking: We’re pretty lucky Emily sleeps 4 hour stretches at night
Noticing: Emily is already changing and getting bigger
Knowing: ^^ That’s supposed to happen
Feeling: Blessed. Tired. Overwhelmed. Thankful.
