February Goals

We’re already a week into February, but better late than never to share my goals for the month!  I have to admit, it is always crazy to me how fast that first month of the year goes, but here we are one month closer to spring!

Before we take a look at the goals I’m setting for this month, let’s first see how I did with January’s goals:

  • Successfully complete a month of the contentment challenge
  • Transfer all my information and get acquainted with my new client management software
  • Finalize plans with a sitter to watch the kids so I can have some dedicated work time each week
  • Finish Grace Not Perfection
  • Go on a date with Mike – it wasn’t just the two of us, but it was a night out and a lot of fun!
  • Have quiet time 3x/week – I would say my average was more like 2x/week 
  • Update website galleriesDo I get extra points for completely redoing my website?! While that wasn’t the plan going into the new year, I had to in order to have in integrated with my new client management system and I am so glad we did!
  • Order new client experience booklets – Rebranded these to match my new website/brand and I also ordered venue booklets and a new sample album for a venue we like to work at!
  • Run on the treadmill one night a week – this didn’t happen…at all. Here’s to next month (especially because I have a long list of podcasts I want to dig into but know I will only have the time to listen to those when I’m by myself on the treadmill)

Now onto February:

  • Start the 21 day fix diet – not ready to commit to the workouts yet, but I definitely need to start something
  • Go on a date night with Mike – it’s already on the calendar and we are really looking forward to it!
  • Clean out a filing cabinet that we haven’t opened since we moved into the new house and implement a new system for how we can use it
  • Run 1x/week
  • Organize our iPhone photos and videos that we downloaded to our computer and combine all the videos from the past year into one montage
  • Finish Present Over Perfect (guys – it is so good!)
  • Blog 2x/week
  • Start prayer journaling again and continue with 2-3 mornings a week of quiet time
