It’s crazy how you can go from the kid who never missed a day of school to a mom who gets sick multiple times a year now. After Emily was sick last weekend, Mike stayed home sick from work on Tuesday, I’ve been sick since Tuesday and Ethan woke up sick Saturday morning! Let’s just say we looking forward to spring!

I started the weekend off with a 3 hour continuing education course on Friday for my dental hygiene license (that I am currently not using, but also not willing to give up)! Friday night we put the kiddos down and had our usual Redbox and a glass of wine kind of date night. Saturday morning, Mike spent time working on the basement (he is getting so close to finishing the framing then on to electrical/plumbing/HVAC before we have someone come in to hang and finish the drywall – hopefully by April)! Later that night, we went to my parent’s house for an impromptu dinner with my Aunt (who just lost her brother this past week) and her family – it was nice to see everyone and catch up! We ended our weekend with a dinner out with my parent’s at Sienna Mercato Emporio on Sunday for part of their Christmas gift followed by watching the Super Bowl with Mike’s parents – I only planned watch it for the commercials but WOW, what a game!
