Alrighty folks, this is it! If you’ve missed either of them, be sure to go back to see Part 1 and Part 2 of our trip, but today, we are ending this three-part post with our time in Pisa, Florence, Toulon and Barcelona…we even have some bloopers at the end for you all to enjoy!

After porting in Livorno, we took a quick bus trip to Pisa before making our way to Florence. This was the only day where we were part of an excursion through Royal Caribbean, and it was pretty fascinating to hear the histories of these two cities during our bus rides.

In Florence we had about 4 hours to explore before we needed to catch the bus back to the boat that was docked about 1.5 hours away.

Gelato for days – literally!

We LOVED Florence, and it was small enough that we felt like we really got to see the majority of it in the little time we had there.

More gelato – why not?!

We loved our dinner waitresses! After our first time being with them, we requested the same table for the rest of the week!

We woke up in Toulon, France and despite the fact that each of us took a minimum of 3 years of French, let’s just say we struggled the most here with the language barrier!

Pretty sure we ate about 5 of these this day – we were going through gelato withdrawal!

Next and final stop: Barcelona! If we were being completely honest, by the time we got to Barcelona, we were exhausted and weren’t up for much more exploration, so we took it easy…first stop was Sagrada Familia – the church that has been in the making for over 140 years.

Then we did some walking and shopping…

We ended our time in Barcelona with the Montjuic Magic Fountain show.

And, it wouldn’t be as fun if we didn’t share some bloopers from the trip!

And there you go!! We had the best time on this vacation! Something we’ve always wanted to do before we had kids and were so thankful we were able to! We hope to go back someday, but would probably spend the majority of our time in Italy – we loved it there the most!
