Europe Vacation | Part 1

We are so excited to finally start sharing the pictures from our Europe vacation! It’s going to be a 3 part series for us to share all of our adventures with you guys, and today we are starting with Venice and Kotor! Let’s take a look and we’ll share some stories throughout the post.

After our 6+ hour drive to New York, we made it to the JFK airport ready for our flight to London then onto Venice!

We made it to Venice around noon on that Friday and started exploring right away….this was the view from in front of our hotel!

This city did NOT disappoint! We loved every minute we spent in Venice!

The first of MANY gelatos we had in Italy!

Why can’t we have backdrops like these here?!

Charming streets and canals at every turn – did you know there are 160 canals in Venice?

My favorite!

Selfie!

We loved our gondolier and he gave us the name of a local restaurant to try for dinner that was easily our favorite meal of the entire trip!

The oldest and largest bridge in Venice!

We woke up ready to see the rest of Venice before getting on the cruise ship.

After what seemed like hours of walking, we made it to San Marco Square!

We then said bye to Venice, boarded the ship and made our way to Kotor, Montenegro – some of the most beautiful views we’ve ever seen!

And a mini photo shoot of course!

Exploring Kotor!

We hiked up the “Great Wall of Kotor” – not sure if that’s what it was called but it was quite the trek! – This picture below is only from about 1/4 of the way up…I didn’t make it much past halfway and let the rest of them go on without me lol

So thankful for these two as our travel partners and dear friends!

We were told that this church (bottom left) was the second oldest in the world…

Captain’s dinner on the boat…

Stay tuned for our adventures in Naples, Pompeii and Rome on the blog tomorrow!
