With wedding season now over we’ve been able to see some friends that we’ve gone far too long without seeing! Our weekend was spent having some quality time with family and friends! Friday night we had a little pizza party with Mike’s family while Emily showed them all her new tricks! Saturday our friends and their two kiddos came over to see the new house then we went out for brunch. We came home, watched the Pitt game then headed back out for dinner at the Cheesecake Factory with my bestie, Abbey, and her hubby and daughter (is that place ever not packed?)! After putting Em to bed we stayed up to watch “The Judge,” it was good, not great, in my opinion. Sunday we went to church – one of our highlights each week spending time worshipping, hearing goodness from God’s word, quieting our minds and catching up with friends! After church we filled up our shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child (have you heard of it?! If not, check it out here – great cause and it’s not too late!) And we ended our weekend with two more trips to the house on Sunday, scoping things out, writing down questions we have and letting Elly roam the place before they install our drywall next week. It was a busy weekend and they always go so fast, but this past one was filled with some much needed time with friends and family!
