I think I’ve mentioned it on here before, but Mike has every other Friday off which is such a blessing! This weekend included one of his Fridays’s off and we took advantage of it! Friday we made a trip to Oakland for my 35 week OB appt and to do some shopping and exchanging (from Mike’s birthday) at the Pitt team store! Friday night I had an engagement session and Mike and Em had their own little pizza party! Saturday morning we went to the SpringHouse with friends to go pumpkin picking. Em had a blast going down the slides, feeding the animals and going on a hayride! Saturday afternoon we had a first birthday party for friend’s of ours followed by another birthday party/cookout that night – such a fun day seeing so many of our friends! And to top it all off Sunday was Mike’s dad’s birthday so after church and Em’s nap we went out to dinner to one of our favorites: Pasta Too followed by cake and ice cream back at their house! While we were running around celebrating all of these birthdays they were finishing the grading and leveling of our lower yard and it looks amazing! We can’t wait to get it seeded and to have all of that extra space for the kiddos to run around next summer!
