This weekend was a good mix of going out and staying in! Friday night we celebrated with our friends at their gender reveal party announcing that they are having a boy, but then had to leave early to get Em to bed (they only live down the street so we were able to walk there which was fun)! Then we rented The Martian to watch after Em went down – great movie…sad it didn’t win anything last night at the Oscars. Saturday, I snuck out to run some errands, then we spent a lot of the day hanging up pictures and decor on our newly painted walls!!! It’s so exciting seeing it all come together! After Em went down for the night, we had our neighbors over (Em doesn’t know what she’s missing out on going to bed so early haha) – it was great getting to know them more with some wine and great conversation!

Sunday after church, I photographed a proposal at Phipps (can’t wait to share those pictures on the blog soon) then came home and had our first client meeting at the new house in my new office! It felt so great having potential clients over to our house again – it’s been too long…no more Starbucks meetings for us! After that we snuck out for a little walk around the neighborhood then called it a night and ended our weekend with the Oscars!
