Another busy weekend for us, but this one ended being surrounded by the people we love most! Before we get to that, let’s rewind and start with Friday…I had a continuing education course to renew my dental hygiene license and loved reconnecting with some of the gals I graduated with. Then, I came home to Mike and we put Emily’s crib together – made everything about 120,390 times more real, followed by our usual Friday night pizza and Netflix! Saturday morning we had a great client meeting before I went bridesmaid dress shopping for my friend Kate’s wedding! Saturday night my other friend Kait (who was in town for the CE course and my shower) spent the night and we ate egg rolls, painted nails and caught up on Scandal before hitting the sack! Then came Sunday – I still can’t believe my shower has now come and gone! I had the best day with so many of my amazing friends and family showering me and baby Emily with tons gifts and well wishes! It was an ice cream social theme and I couldn’t have imagined it any other way! I can’t wait to share pictures on the blog here soon! Stay tuned!

After the shower, my engineer of a husband loaded up our CR-V perfectly and was able to fit every single gift except the crib mattress. We came home, unpacked the car into the nursery and did some sorting – sitting amongst piles diapers, pacifiers, bottles and everything else you could think of to care for a little babe! It was so overwhelming to think that we have so many people in our lives supporting us as we bring little Emily into the world! We are so thankful to each and every person who helped put the shower together and came to be a part of it! Finally, after a long day, we snuggled up on the couch and ended our weekend with – you got it – Gilmore Girls! Hope you all had a great weekend!
