Another productive weekend at the Mish Casa! It’s felt so good continuing to get settled into the new house! Friday morning, after much anticipation, our painter finished our built-ins. We were so excited to see the finished look, but had to wait a couple days for them to dry completely before we could decorate them. Friday night, we went to the hospital to visit Mike’s mom who had a double knee replacement last Tuesday. It was so nice seeing in her such good spirits (I think Em helped)! Saturday we worked around the house and I painted Emily’s room – PINK! It was hard swaying from our usual gray, but we were excited to make our little girl’s room a little more…girly! Later on, we enjoyed a night in with friends, good food and of course Sarris ice cream! During Em’s Sunday afternoon nap, Mike and I made our way through some of the remaining boxes in the basement, and we finished decorating the built-ins (we’ll be sharing all of the before and after pictures of the built-ins on the blog tomorrow)! Later that afternoon, we went for a walk around the neighborhood then had our Life Group over for the Super Bowl! Another busy weekend indeed, but seeing all the progress we’ve made with the house so far is keeping us going strong. Happy Monday, friends! Here’s to a great week!
