This is the first of many before and after posts coming your way as we continue to transform our new house into the home we’ve dreamed of and planned for the past several years! A close friend of ours used this carpenter to put in built-ins at her house and we knew since the day we signed the papers to build this home that we would be adding some built-ins of our own. We wanted it to not only function as the focal point of the living room, but also as a place to store Emily’s toys and to showcase some of our favorite pictures and knick knacks from our travels over the years. So, we arranged with the carpenter to start the day after we closed on the house and he did such an amazing job! After he assembled the built-ins Mike puttied and sanded the nail holes and our painter came in last week to paint it and finish it up! We are so thrilled with how it turned out! Let’s take a look at the progress!
