Our style of wedding photography includes a pretty equal amount of detail shots, candid moments and posed portraits. We absolutely love photographing all the little details like the perfume your wore and the invitations you sent out to all your guests or the homemade jam you spent hours making as favors for all those guests you invited. It’s the little things like that we don’t want to be forgotten, so we choose to take a little extra time on the wedding day to photograph each and every one of those details. With that said, in order for us to photograph all your gorgeous details on the morning of your wedding, we need to make sure you have all of the items you wish to be photographed with you (this is also a perfect job to delegate one of your bridesmaids). So, today we wanted to help you out and list some of the items to make sure you have with you during the getting ready portion of your wedding day.

• Your wedding dress and veil
• Bridesmaid dresses (on pretty hangers)
• Rings (including your engagement ring as well as both of the wedding bands – I promise we won’t forget to give them to the best man before the ceremony starts)
• Any other jewelry you will be wearing (earrings, bracelet, necklace, other rings, etc)
• Any hair accessories (headbands, barrette, side bridal comb, flower, etc)
• Perfume and makeup you’ll be wearing
• Shoes
• Your bouquet and the groom’s boutonniere (see this blog post for more reasons why you will want your flowers delivered to your getting ready location instead of at the church)
• Full invitation suite
• Any other wedding stationary (save the date, program, menu, etc)
• Favors
• Gift, card or letter from the groom for the bride
• Antiques, keepsakes, something old/new/borrowed/blue
• And anything else you would like to be photographed
