Today’s Tip | Flower Delivery

There is so much that goes into planning your wedding, so we recommend making sure that things are all perfectly in line and planned out ahead of time to ensure a seamless and stress-free (well, at least as much as possible) day! While we’ve talked about wedding day timelines and tips for getting ready, today we wanted to talk about flower delivery on the day of your wedding. It’s often overlooked, but there are many benefits to having your flowers arrive early in the day! This is something that you will have to discuss with your florist ahead of time, but trust me, it can really make all the difference! And here’s a tip within a tip post…splurge a little on your bouquet. It’ll be in all the pictures throughout the day from details to portraits, so you’ll want to love it! AND, a gorgeous bouquet can really make the photos pop and add a little something extra…just think about it!

Here are some of the benefits to having your flowers delivered to where you are getting ready instead of waiting until the church to get them…

  • They make for some beautiful and cohesive detail pictures. We show up a couple hours before you are getting in your wedding dress because we want to make sure we capture all of the details that you put into your big day, from your shoes and invitations to your jewelry and flowers. If you have your flowers delivered in the morning at your getting ready location, all of your detail pictures will go together so beautifully.

  • Bridal portraits. After you are all dressed and ready, we try to get a handful of images of the bride alone in the hotel room (or getting ready location), and you are going to want your flowers for these photos.

  • First Look. If you are doing a first look, you want to make sure you have your bouquet for those pictures. Especially because it is usually right after the first look that we are doing all the bride and groom portraits, so you will definitely want your flowers in hand for that.

We hope this helps and if you have any questions, please let us know! We are here to help make your day as flawless as possible while giving you the beautiful images you want!
