Spring is such an awesome time of the year as it symbolizes new life and new beginnings (especially this year as I will be pursuing my photography career full-time starting on Monday), but even though spring has “officially” begun, it sure doesn’t feel like it. We like to take an optimistic approach to life, so we are ready to “think spring” and thought we’d share some of the things we are most looking forward to once the weather warms up!

• Going out for bike rides and taking Elly on walks at some local trails
• Our gas bill going down
• Open windows
• Bonfires (with our new fire pit that we purchased on Black Friday)
• Baseball
• Trips to Dairy Queen
• Going to the Drive-In (and tossing around a football before it starts)
• Zucchini (for Alison) and Zucchini bread (for Mike)
• And all the fresh fruit that comes with spring and summer (this one is obviously just for Alison)

However, one thing we are not looking forward to is when Mike’s allergies start to kick in…
