I’m excited to start this new monthly series – and while I’m a couple days late for February, I love the idea of this series, so I’m going for it anyways! My friend and fellow blogger, Erica of “Bakers Tell Stories” in DC has been doing this type of series for a couple months now and I just loved it so much I had to get on board! So, let’s see what I was up to in February…

Making: Burp cloths for Emily and some friends
Cooking: A lot more than normal – I’ve been doing a better job meal planning and cooking lots of delicious Pinterest meals
Drinking: Hazelnut decaf coffee – everyday
Reading: The Psalms
Wanting: To meet Emily
Looking: Forward to getting new glasses after Emily arrives – my eye sight has definitely gotten worse these last 8 months
Playing: Adele on Pandora
Wasting: Too much time watching Netflix
Wishing: I could enjoy a glass of wine
Enjoying: These last weeks of it being just me, Mike and Elly – getting weirdly emotional thinking about it
Waiting: For spring
Wondering: When Adele is coming out with a new album
Loving: The way the nursery turned out
Hoping: Emily doesn’t think it’ll be funny to arrive late
Needing: A pedicure
Wearing: My new J. Crew slippers
Thinking: I am going to need another budget line for clothes for Emily
Noticing: Most of this list has to do with Emily (guess that’s this season of life)
Knowing: Our lives are about to completely change!
Feeling: Ready.
