WOW! It seems like it’s been forever since we’ve had a weekend off and just a regular “Merry Monday” post here on the blog! This weekend was pretty laid back, and it was great! Friday, I grabbed dinner with my two best high school friends. We try to see each other once a month, but these busy last couple of months made it hard, so we had a lot to catch up on! Saturday, we slept in, had some extra cuddle time with Miss Elly, and got to enjoy some retail therapy and Sarris ice cream with my mom while Mike was with friends all day. Sunday was perfect and relaxing. After church, we got some stuff done around the house, napped, grilled steaks for dinner and played tennis with friends – the perfect way to end the weekend!

The worship at church on Sunday was great, and we sang a song that really reminded me how important it is to “count on God.” So, I’m passing that reminder on to you all today! Happy Monday, friends!
