Can you believe Miss Emily Mae is 3 months old already?! We can’t! This month has been the hardest of them all with our little peanut, but she is cuter than ever and smiling more and more everyday, so that helps! After an ear, nose and throat doctor appointment on Wednesday, it’s been confirmed that she has some reflux issues – something we’ve assumed for a couple weeks now as we’ve notice discomfort during feedings. While she’s been fussy during feedings and not nursing well, we’re just thankful she is still gaining weight and is still that happy, healthy baby we know so well! She’s been sleeping 8-10 hour stretches at night which has been amazing – there was a time we were afraid we’d never get more than 6 hours of sleep at night ever again! Three months into this whole parenting thing and for the most part it’s been amazing, but I’d be lying if I didn’t say there have definitely been moments of mom guilt, feeling like I could be doing better and more for our little one and some days just feeling like I’m not good enough. Thankful for grace and reminders that I am still learning what it is and means to be a mom…I have a feeling I’ll be learning about this whole mom thing for for quite some time. So blessed to have this sweet little girl to raise and love on for the rest of my life! Happy 3 months Emily Mae!

Some things she is/we are loving this month:

• Mirrors – she loves looking at herself in the mirror – it’s often where we get the most smiles from her
• Her big sister, Elly! Seriously these two are amazing together! Elly runs up the stairs behind me every time I get Emily out of her crib from her nap, she scratches at her crib while I get her out then I put Emily on the floor for Elly to see and this is when she licks her little toes and rolls all over her! Elly is also always sitting right next to Emily while she feeds or while she plays on her mat and she is the first one to respond to her when she starts crying!
• Pacifier clips – these are becoming a lot more of a necessity and we are loving our braided leather clips from The Lil’ Cupcake on Etsy
• Baby Bling Bows and Tiny Turban bows
• Baby Einstein Pandora station during play/wake time
• Her fist – sucks on it all day long
• Pulling up her shirt or pulling up a blanket over her face

Coming in at 13 lbs and 23.5 inches long, here’s our little peanut at 3 months!
