How is she 2 months already?! I constantly find myself looking back through “old” pictures of her from right after she was born and it is unbelievable how much she has changed! Not only does she look completely different, but she is smiling and “talking” more and we’re starting to see a little bit more of her personality – sassy and all! So, another month in the books! This past month we saw her smile for the first time and made the transition from her rock ‘n play in our room to the crib in her room. This was harder than I thought it would be (on me)! It was hard not having her next to me to check on throughout the night, but we knew she was ready. Also, at about 5 weeks, she slept through the night (about 6-7 hours) and was killing it, but since we moved her to the crib, she’s only going about 4-5 hours at night. While it feels like we are regressing a bit, we know she’s going to get back into the swing of things here soon. She ends up waking herself up by kicking the swaddle right off of her (yes, that miracle blanket swaddle we raved about last month), something she couldn’t really do in the rock ‘n play. She’s our little houdini – nothing can keep those arms of hers in a swaddle!

A couple things we’ve been thankful for this month:

• Sound machine in her room
  
• Activity mat
• Burp cloths (she’s been throwing up a good bit lately and we’ve been going through burp cloths like crazy)
• Mam and Nuk pacifiers

Coming in at 11 lbs 3 oz and 23 inches, here’s our little peanut at 2 months!
