Mike was off on Friday (he gets off every other Friday, which is such a blessing!), so we had a little family day at the park in between Emily’s naps (she had a rough day coming off shots at the doctor on Thursday and her first year molars coming in). Then I had a shoot, and we ended the night with pizza (a Mish family favorite) and Star Wars (we wanted to watch the original trilogy before seeing the newest one that everyone’s been raving about). Saturday, we went to the zoo with most of our Life Group, and although it wasn’t the perfect family outing we’d hoped for with Em still fussy, we managed to have a great time with great friends. I left straight from the zoo and headed up past Grove City for an engagement session. When I got home, Mike and I watched more of the first Star Wars movie in the trilogy (that we couldn’t finish Friday night). Sunday after church, Em and I went for a nice long walk and went to the park while Mike and his brother enjoyed a great day at the Pirates game. We met back up at Mike’s family’s house for dinner and ended the night with one final walk around the neighborhood and  finally finishing the first Star Wars movie – listen we are old and tired and while it’s embarrassing that it took us 3 weekend nights to finish 1 two hour movie, it’s life these days!
