Guys! I can’t believe it, I am sitting here typing this blog post from my laptop in our new home – while my new desk is all put together (thanks to Mike’s incredible parents), my desktop computer is one of the only things that hasn’t made the move yet from my parent’s house.

Well, we closed early Friday morning (8:00 to be exact) then got right to work! We headed back to the house in time for our couch and fridge to get delivered and our garage door opener and internet to get installed. My dad and Mike made a quick trip to Ikea to pick up some furniture and our mattress (we love out $450 mattress from Ikea – it’s our second one and we absolutely love them)! We spent the rest of the day with both of our parent’s bringing stuff over from my parent’s house to the new house and putting together our new bed and some of our furniture.

Saturday, we shot a wedding for such an adorable couple who handled the cold and snowy weather incredibly! They had a beautiful wedding at the Willow Room and I cannot wait to share more sneak peeks from their big day on the blog tomorrow (would’ve shared them today, but like I said my desktop – with all their pictures on it is still at my parent’s house and isn’t make the trip here until today)!

Sunday was the big moving day. Five of our closest friends and both of our parents all came over and helped SO much from clearing out our storage unit into the uHaul and loading it into the house to helping put together our furniture and unpacking the kitchen! We seriously could not have done it without their help!! We got a lot done this weekend and while we still have a good ways to go to make this new house of ours a home, we are thrilled to be mostly unpacked and in!
