This weekend was one of the rare times that we were in a wedding, and we had a blast! Our close friends Steve and Krista (you may know them as our Europe vaca travel buddies) tied the knot on Saturday, and while it wasn’t without some rain (okay – a lot of rain), it was perfect! Not only were Mike and I honored to be standing by their sides on their wedding day, but it was nice to remember what the wedding day looks like from the other side of the camera. There were a couple times I felt a sense of urgency when the DJ announced certain events were starting thinking I needed to grab my camera, but it was so nice to be able to leave our cameras at home, enjoy the day, and celebrate with the (now) newlyweds! We toasted with champagne, rode in the party bus and even danced a little (after some wine) – look at us! After all the wedding festivities on Friday and Saturday, we spent most of the day Sunday at home with Emily catching up on the time we missed with her! Crazy how much you can miss someone!
