It’s been awhile since we’ve shared a weekend shenanigans post – probably because most of our weekends these last 2 months were spent at home as we adjusted to life as a family of four. But, we got out of the house this weekend and it was so rewarding! Mike was off on Friday, but we did spend most of the day at home, getting some stuff done around the house. I also painted Em’s nails and toenails for the first time which was a lot of fun! Saturday morning however, we headed out to the children’s museum in Pittsburgh and had the best time! Emily loves Daniel Tiger so we wanted to get there one last time before the exhibit closes in just a couple weeks. Mike has never been there with Em, so he loved getting to experience all the goodness the museum has to offer with her! Saturday night we had some friends over for dinner and while our time together looks a lot different now than it did before we had kiddos, it was so nice catching up and enjoying each other’s company! Sunday after church I caught up on some business stuff then we had dinner at my parent’s house before coming back home and settling in for the night. My parents renovated their entire kitchen and dining room last year and this was one of the first times we were able to enjoy a meal with them in the new space! And as always, it’s nice spending time with fam!
