Happy Monday, friends! We are coming off a fun weekend full of celebrations! Let’s start with Friday – after 14 innings of play, Mike’s brother’s high school baseball team won the game and clinched a spot in the WPIAL playoffs! With the chilly weather, rain and a one year old, we couldn’t stay for the entire game, but Matt had a great game! I still can’t believe he is graduating in just a couple more weeks!

Saturday, I spent the day celebrating one of my best friends for her baby shower! It was such a great day, and I must say the theme was quite adorable! We ended our Saturday night with some wings, Sarris ice cream, and a few games of Rummikub and Skipbo – 26 going on 80 – I know!

Sunday, Mike and Em woke me up with breakfast in bed along with the most beautiful flowers! After church I napped…for two hours…and it was amazing! Mike cleaned the house and took care of Em after she woke up from her nap – seriously how did I get so lucky? We had Mike’s family over for a cookout and a great visit! It’s really a wonderful and beautiful thing seeing parents turn into grandparents!! We ended the night with a walk around the neighborhood and another game of Skipbo! Already looking forward to celebrating Mother’s Day with my mama next weekend.

ANDDD…in case you missed it…Mike and I were thrilled to announce this Mother’s Day weekend that Emily is going to be a big sister come November. We are so thankful that God is blessing us with another Mini Mish that will be here before we know it!
