We had the weekend off from shooting and boy did we fill it up with a lot of fun with our friends! Friday night I enjoyed a little girl’s night with my best friends from high school which included Chinese delivery, a walk to a local ice cream shop, and the opening ceremony for the Olympics! Saturday we spent the day on the river on our friend’s boat. It was a much needed time of relaxation and catching up without our kiddos – although we got burnt and Mike is still sore from rafting and wake surfing. Sunday after church we went to a reunion for the travel softball team I played on growing up. It was such a fun and special day. We played together for about 8 years growing up, and it’s been over 10 years since we’ve all played together. Now we are all moms and life looks a little different than our last reunion 6 years ago! We had a blast letting our kiddos play together and reminiscing about the good old days! It was a busy weekend, but there’s nothing better than going into a new week with such a full heart!
