It’s Tuesday…that calls for a top ten! And, it’s May…that calls for an update post on happenings and goals for the new month! In honor of it being the first of the month and a Tuesday, I figured I’d combined the posts I typically do on those two occasions into one lovely post!

This month:

1. We close on our house! (This calls for lots of boxes to be moved and rooms to be painted)
2. I will be another year older!
3. Mike’s baseball season starts…boy, do I miss seeing him pitch!
4. My best friend and her husband hit their 2 year anniversary!
5. We’ve got 3 weddings to go to…2 to attend and 1 to photograph.
6. We are traveling to New York to check off Citi Field and see the Mets take on the Padres!
7. We will be photographing quite a few of engagement sessions for some of my 2013 brides.
8. We have a staff retreat at work!
9. I hope to read through the manual of my new camera!
10. A goal of mine this month is to trust God that everything will get done that needs to get done for us to successfully move into the new house. Not to stress about it, but enjoy this time of our lives (moving into our first home, late nights painting and moving, picking out new furniture and decor)…I can’t wait!!!

I can say that Mike and I did achieve our goal to have more down time together last month before we hit wedding season at full throttle, but we failed on the new pictures together, so I’m going to just transfer that personal goal on to this month…or better yet, let’s just make that a goal to accomplish by the end of this summer!

And, for a little update…I received my two new lenses in the mail today and am expecting my new camera tomorrow! I couldn’t be more excited for what this wedding season has in store!
