I was watching Justin and Mary’s “The Big Next” on Showit Live yesterday and the very first question they asked was who sacrificed for me in my life so far. The thought of my parents and my husband immediately came to mind! It’s overwhelming to look back and see all the amazing things my parents have done for me throughout my life thus far. They sacrificed finances for me to go to a private, Christian elementary school, they sacrificed time (a lot of time) taking me to and from dates with Mike (we started “dating” before either of us had our driver’s licenses) and driving me to school, softball practices, games and tournaments. They sacrificed so much for me to pursue my dreams, go to college and eventually start a photography business. I look up to my parents so much, and I am excited to have kids of our own someday, love them as I was loved and make these same sacrifices for them.

The other (amazing) person who made sacrifices for me is my husband (you all know that handsome kid I’m hugging in the picture above…). He has sacrificed so much for both me and this business. The most amazing thing about it though, is that we do this (business) together. And the finances we sacrifice in order to upgrade our equipment or save up for me to eventually do this full-time, benefit both of us, as well as this business! I am beyond blessed to have such a sweet-spirited, encouraging, God-loving husband to come home to every day and work alongside with this business.
