We’re closing in on another month! How are there only 3 more months left in this year?! Let’s take a look at this month’s Taking Stock…

Making: better food choices
Cooking: lots of grilled chicken and veggies (one thing I’m going to miss as the weather continues to get cooler)
Drinking: black coffee – who am I?!
Wanting: to go on a vacation – who’s with me?!
Looking: up lots of fun new items for the house – Target, you never let me down
Wishing: I had more patience – working on it, friends.
Reading: My Utmost for His Highest – loved this devotional in college, fun getting it back out and going through it again – such good stuff
Enjoying: watching Emily roll all over the place
Waiting: to see what Emily does next
Loving: being so close to the new house so we can see the daily progression
Wondering: if our house will be done before Christmas
Hoping: Emily does good for Mike (and Mrs. Wallace) next week while I’m out of town
Needing: to stop online shopping so much (J Crew factory sales and Amazon prime are t-r-o-u-b-l-e!)
Wearing: nude flats and sweaters – hello fall!
Noticing: the trees are starting to turn colors
Thinking: I need to be getting to bed earlier
Feeling: excited for the Pursuit Conference next week, but sad and nervous about leaving Emily
Knowing: I need this time away for some great fellowship with other Christian woman photographers and for some quality time with God.
