I know I’m a couple days late here, but we’ve had quite a busy start to the month so far! September is easily one of my favorite months of the year! I have already been lighting my fall scented candles around the house and ordering new brown boots online to prepare me for this wonderful season ahead! While it’s depressing to think about what comes after the beautiful fall season here in Pittsburgh, I’m trying this thing where I focus on today and living in the moment, and today, I am sipping on a homemade cappuccino and dreaming of pumpkin picking, leaves changing colors, Pitt having a winning football season and all the other excitement that comes with fall! Let’s take a look at the month ahead of us!

Happenings

• 2 Weddings – oh how I love September weddings
• Pitt football
• Pittsburgh ALS walk in honor of one of my best friend’s mom
• A baby shower and a bachelorette party for two sweet friends of mine
• Red Sox vs. Pirates
• Engagement sessions, anniversary sessions, client meetings and more!
• My parent’s anniversary…which is TODAY!!!
• Mike’s parent’s anniversary! Which is the day before…
• MIKE’S BIRTHDAY! Yay! I love any excuse to celebrate this man!
• And I will probably be starting some Christmas shopping this month – don’t judge me.

Personal Goals

• Recover from August (this may include a massage and/or pedicure)
• Choosing to eat healthier – it’s really all about one choice at a time and lately I’ve been choosing cake for breakfast if you get where I’m going…
• Clean out our garage – poor thing has been neglected all summer long and has just been collecting who knows what
• Weekly scripture memorization with Mike – we’re off to a good start, but it’s only been 1 week
• Choosing quiet time in morning before choosing to go to my computer (or phone, really) to start working

Business Goals

• Order new sample albums – really gotta do this soon
• Book 3 more weddings for 2015! Can’t believe we are already almost done booking for next year!
• Submit some weddings for publication
• Order new pictures for office decor
• Start and finish some albums designs I’ve been working on
