San Fran | Napa Vacation Part II

Alrighty friends, part two! Yesterday, you saw the first half of our west coast vacation, and today we’re sharing the rest of our week with you all! We’ve got Muir Woods, more wineries and more of that San Francisco landmark we all know too well! Let’s get at it!

Day 5:

We headed from our resort in Napa to the “city by the bay” for a day on the town with the whole family.

He’s my favorite! (After Michael Mish, of course)

I can’t walk by a mini donut shop without stopping for a little treat!

Yup…this just about sums up our family!

Hi, Isaac!

The famous Pier 39 sea lions…

Love this kid so much!

The “crookedest street” says my dad!

Such gorgeous views!

Then off to the Muir Woods we went! It was an awesome experience walking through the park and seeing those 250+ foot tall trees!

Day 6:

Thursday, we headed to Sonoma County to visit a couple more wineries! And this one was our favorite of them all!

We did a cave tour to see where they make, barrel, and store their wine!

And it wouldn’t be a trip to wine country without a photo in the vineyards! Too bad we didn’t get to take advantage of that famous California “golden hour”!

And on to our last winery of the trip…Mike watched Isaac while we tasted the wine!

Day 7:

Back to San Francisco! And we started are day with a drive by the good old Full House house. It’s been painted since the filming of the best TV show ever, but still cool to see! We actually found out that Uncle Joey stopped by for a picture just before us! Ahhh! It would’ve been ahh-mazing to get a selfie with him!

From there we made our way to the first U.S. Chinatown! We didn’t stay long, but long enough to get a few pics!

Then off to some good old American cuisine at Super Duper Burgers for some delicious burgers and San Fran garlic fries!

Onward to Fisherman’s wharf for some final tourist shenanigans…

And to end it all, our final stop in the city was ballpark #17 for us, AT&T Park!

SUCH a gorgeous stadium! We give it the #2 ranking for looks, after PNC Park of course!

But we ranked it #1 for the best food at a ballpark! We were blown away with the options!

And to top it off, the Dodgers beat their rivals 8-1! Mike was quite a happy camper!

Day 8:

Woke up, grabbed breakfast, returned our rental car, hopped on a plane to Denver then from Denver to Pittsburgh where we sat on the runway waiting to make our way to a gate for over 2 hours until the rain and lightning slowed down…Welcome to Pittsburgh!

All in all it was a great vacation, and we are already looking forward to our next adventure! Until next time, friends!
