Welcome to my little corner of the internet! I am a wedding and creative branding photographer based out of Pittsburgh! Here you will find just about everything you need to know about me and my most recent work! Thanks for stopping by!
Although traveling with a one year old is quite different than vacationing used to look like for us, we had a blast enjoying family time and seeing her explore new things! And, not only did she do great on the plane rides, but she adjusted so well to the time change both there and when we got home (even better than us!). Let’s take a look…
For a 4:00am wake up call, this girl was wide awake at the airport and loved the moving walkways (especially walking in the opposite direction it was going, she thought it was hilarious)
First plane ride complete with headphones and her first experience watching a tv show…
After delayed flights, layovers, and rental car chaos, we made it. During our first full day there, we visited La Jolla and ate dinner at Eddie V’s with this spectacular view (on the right).
She’s got the wave, she’s got the smile…Emily for president!
Loved her time on daddy’s shoulders
Best. Breakfast. Ever…see for yourself!
First time on a merry-go-round…was a little skeptical at first but wanted to get right back on when it ended.
Emily meets sand…it was love at first sight
Love this next picture…
High fives for dad!
Pool time!
Playing catch
And then she met the splash pad…that smile!
First time by herself…”Am I through yet? Am I through yet? Phew, I made it”
Yummy lunch at the highly recommended Blue Water Seafood Market – Fish tacos for the win!
Then we headed to Coronado Island
Of course she smiles with Grammy and Pap Pap ;)
More fun at the beach (although it was too chilly to even consider getting in)!
She was going for the ocean-side, wind-blown look!
All smiles for ice cream – my girl!
More time at the pool…
“Come and get me dad!”
Sunset cliffs
16 weeks pregnant…
Mike: “My turn” (that’s all ice cream buddy)…But really, look at that stud!
We spent our last day exploring the city just the two of us…
Bike rides and all…
And of course, we saw a ballpark – stadium #19 for us!
We got lucky and spotted a 19!
And I have to say Petco is a new favorite of mine. We’ve been to Fenway, Dodgers Stadium and Wrigley – all awesome and amazing in their own respect. We’ve been to AT&T, Camden Yards, Busch Stadium and yes, PNC Park – all also amazing. And while PNC Park will always be a favorite, Petco beat it for me. The food, the grassy park in center field, the kids field and the overall look and feel was just something special like we’ve never seen before. We still have 11 to go, but this one will always be up there for me!
All in all, another wonderful vacation in the books!
