I surprised my friend this past weekend with a trip up to New York City for her birthday. We stayed at a friend’s apartment in Brooklyn and had an amazing weekend of city life enjoying wine, conversation, shopping, and entertainment. New York City is the most photogenic and lively city I have ever seen. I have been to New York many times in my life, but this was the first time that I experienced the city from behind my camera lens. The colors of NYC are stunning…from the fresh produce that is sold on the street to the lights of times square…it is just fascinating. I’m still working on going through the photographs I took in New York and I will post some of my favorite shots in a couple days.
