I don’t even know where to begin with this post! I’ve known Steve my entire life…we grew up together in the same church since we were wee little tots! Mike and Steve became friends in middle school while playing on the same basketball team…so it’s safe to say that we both know Steve pretty well! And while Steve, Mike and I all went to the same high school, it wasn’t really until college (when Steve started dating Krista) and after that we all became such good friends! Mike and I have been so blessed by Steve and Krista’s friendship over these past several years and could not be more excited for these two! Since both Mike and I are in their wedding next May, we aren’t able to photograph it, but we had a great time shooting their engagement session last Sunday.

We were out to dinner with them before their session when the rain really started coming down, but we figured we’d head out to North Park anyway to see how it was looking out there. While the storm clouds made us think the whole session would get rained out, we didn’t see another drop the rest of the night! It was so special to be able to photograph two of our best friends during their engagement, and we can’t wait to be a part of their wedding day together…standing by their sides witnessing the two of them becoming one! Congratulations Steve and Krista! We love you both so much!
