This past weekend we flew over to St. Louis to visit my brother, his wife and our nephew for the weekend! We had such a great time and are already looking forward to seeing them again in just a couple months for our family vacation! We cannot believe how big sweet Isaac is getting and enjoyed every minute we had with him, Adam, and Rachel! On Saturday, we visited our 14th ballpark in our journey to see all 30 of them…that’s right folks, we are one away from the halfway point! Not only did we get to visit Busch Stadium, but we got to see the Pirates play (and beat) the Cardinals with some amazing seats that Adam and Rachel got for us.  AND it was Isaac’s first ballgame which made it even more special! After church yesterday, we headed out to lunch and spent the rest of our time together just talking and really digging deep into some awesome stuff! We were so sad to leave; it seems like these weekends just keep getting shorter and shorter! After saying our goodbyes we headed to the airport and waited 4.5 hours to finally catch our delayed flight into Chicago and waited almost 3 hours in Chicago, getting us home at 4:00 this morning (you know it’s bad when you are leaving the airport and people start pouring in to catch their 6:00 a.m. flights…yikes)! But it was well worth it to see our family, engage in some great conversation, take our nephew to his first ballgame, visit our 14th ballpark and get hooked on Scandal (we are well into season 2, and we started it Saturday…whoops, I guess that’s what you get when you have 7 hours to waste in an airport)!
