Happy Monday! I can’t believe it’s already Monday again! These weeks have been flying by for us as we continue to make our way into the busyness of wedding season! While we didn’t have a wedding this weekend, it was jammed packed with engagement sessions and other fun adventures! On Friday night, we headed to Peters Lake for the second time last week for an engagement session that will be on the blog tomorrow! We had a bright and early start to Saturday morning as we made our way to Freeport, PA for another engagement session filled with fire trucks and pretty pastel colors (this session will be on the blog on Thursday)! Right after that, we headed to the groom’s parent’s house for a wonderful lunch they planned for us! It was so nice relaxing and chatting over some delicious summer foods! From there, we headed home and grilled out for dinner before heading to the drive-in for the night with one of the couples from our life group. We saw “The Great Gatsby,” and while I read the book in high school, there is a lot that I didn’t remember (and I think it was for good reason). Let’s just say I’m all about happy endings! After church on Sunday, we set out for Johnstown to visit with Mike’s grandma. It was a great afternoon of catching up with her and reminiscing (and she gave us her 70+ year old typewriter)! And…we ended the weekend with a DQ blizzard and the Pens game!
