Merry Monday | A Relaxing Weekend

WPPI knocked it out of us last week, so needless to say, a lot of our weekend was spent on the couch snuggling! We quickly caught up on all the TV shows we missed while we were away (including The Bachelor finale, Psych, and The Mentalist)! Saturday we headed to The Cheesecake Factory for lunch with Mike’s parents and brother, followed by more couch time. It wasn’t until the night was almost over that we finally felt motivated enough to paint our bathroom (woohoo – progress is being made)! After church on Sunday, we grabbed lunch with my parents to catch up and talk all about our trip, and later last night, I went to Burgatory (holla) with 5 other photographers from Pittsburgh to network and get to know each other! This month (so far) has been full of meeting new people and networking within the photography community, and we couldn’t be more excited about it! I’m meeting with another local photographer tomorrow night to talk about PASS and how amazing it is (click here to learn more about PASS)! All in all, it was a great weekend spent enjoying some quality and relaxing time with our families! We can’t wait to share our full WPPI recap on the blog tomorrow, but in the meantime, don’t forget to check out our 300th blog post giveaway for a chance to win a gift card to ETSY and Burgatory!

This weekend via my iPhone…a warm welcome home from Elly, a Luau Salad from The Cheesecake Factory and a Salted Carmel Pretzel Milkshake from Burgatory!

An ugly iPhone “before” picture of the old vanity and wallpaper (after our first attempt at removing it) in our main floor bathroom…

A peek at the new flooring we are Mike is putting in and what the walls are starting to look like after the first coat of paint…
