Welcome to my little corner of the internet! I am a wedding and creative branding photographer based out of Pittsburgh! Here you will find just about everything you need to know about me and my most recent work! Thanks for stopping by!
Not only did we have a much needed, relaxing and fun weekend off (after 7 weddings in 6 weekends), but…it’s July!!! And our July is happening this year! But, before we get to our July, it’s time for some weekend highlights! Our Friday evening was spent at Burgatory (thanks Rob + Kate!) then the drive-in with friends (including their adorable 6 month old…seriously, we want to keep her) watching Monsters University and the first 10 minutes of Iron Man 3. I say 10 minutes because it didn’t take long before we fell asleep then decided to just head home (it’s sad how we used to be able to stay up for both…but now we’re old)! Saturday, we headed out to the Panhandle Trail for a bike ride, followed by some tennis! That night, we decided to stay in with our pup and watch Warrior. We ended the night sitting around a campfire eating some s’mores! And Sunday, after church we headed to a cookout with Mike’s huddle group from church then did some work around the house before ending our weekend with some HGTV and Super Mario World!
And now, for our July happenings and goals!

Have you ever tried Crockpot BBQ chicken? It’s seriously delicious, and really really easy (I put the chicken in the crockpot frozen). Here is the link: http://forkinit.blogspot.com/2010/09/crockpot-barbecue-chicken.htm It’s a Walker household favorite! And you have to take the recommendation in the article and eat it with the biscuits–also super easy to make: http://forkinit.blogspot.com/2010/09/cheddar-and-herb-biscuits.html.
Alison, I am so glad you + Mike had such a WONDERFUL weekend off! How was Monsters U? (There are so many movies in theaters I want to see right now – probably a good activity for this New Orleans July! Ha!) I am so excited to see your session with Katelyn + Michael, it’s going to be FANTASTIC! Also I just made this cream cheese pound cake and it is DELICIOUS! (I took note of the comments on the bottom and exchanged the 3 sticks of butter to 2 sticks/half cup crisco and also baked it on a higher temp!) http://www.marthastewart.com/349993/cream-cheese-pound-cake.
