It’s May! One of my favorite months of the year! Mostly because it’s my birthday month, but also because it is one month closer to summer! After all the rain the last couple of days, I’m more excited than ever for some sunshine! We’ve got a lot going on this month (I feel like we say that every month, but I guess that’s just the season of life we are in right now)! Let’s take a look!

Happenings:

• My birthday! Woohoo!
• Mother’s Day and celebrating two woman I love dearly!
• 5 weddings…let it begin!
• A handful of engagement sessions for some of our 2014 couples…now that the weather is finally warming up and the trees are blossoming!
• Visiting my dear friend and college roommate in Harrisburg for a weekend
• Camping/boating/adventuring Memorial Day weekend (after we photograph a lovely wedding, of course)

Personal Goals:

• Continue limiting my coffee intake! One cup a day is my goal, but I’m just trying to get down to 3 cups a day at this point!
• Take Elly to the trail once a week (now that the weather is, well kinda, nice)
• Get back into cycling class 2x/week
• Plant new flowers in our front yard and clean up the landscaping
• Leave the worrying to God and trust Him with everything…something I often struggle with. I try to do it all on my own instead of letting God take control and lead me.

Business Goals:

• Finish our client lounge and update our plus sites to match our new website and branding
• Finish reading Purple Cow and Selling the Invisible
• Get back to using my powersheets and work on managing my time better
• Do a little client gifting revamp
• And there are too many “to-do’s” to list here for everything going on behind the scenes as we continue to prepare for the launch of Lace and Loyalty, but stay tuned!
