It’s hard to believe that is was already 3 years ago that Michael and I said “I do.” I remember the excitement I felt that day like it was yesterday! After 6 and a half years of dating we were over the moon excited to finally get married and start our lives together! I remember thinking in high school when we started dating that it couldn’t get any better than that…the cutest boy I knew holding my hand proudly as we walked through the halls of our high school, leaving me love notes in my locker and always saving the pink Starbursts for me! But I was wrong, because it got even better in college when we both grew in our faith and our relationship deepened and became so much more real. And then came marriage, and it has been the greatest blessing of all! God has continued to show us what true, authentic love looks like! While Mike still surprises me with flowers and date nights, the real love comes when we are serving each other and loving each other the way God intended. It’s not always easy, but it is always worth it! And, it’s amazing to see more and more with each passing year why God brought us together and what His purpose is for us and our marriage!

Happy Anniversary to the best friend and husband a girl could ask for! You love me when I don’t deserve it. You encourage me when I am hard on myself. You humble me when I start to get prideful. You remind me to be thankful for the little things in life! You are one of a kind, Michael Mish, and I am the luckiest girl in the world! When I said those vows to you three years ago, I meant them with every part of my being. I am yours forever and always!
