Well, that was the fastest year of my life!! Ethan is ONE today! Can you believe it?! I sure can’t! But here we are celebrating our baby boy turning a whole year old today! It seems like just yesterday we found out we were pregnant with you, buddy! Nine months later they put your new little self on my chest and my life changed forever as my eyes welled up with tears, praising the Lord for his goodness and the miracle of life. You have brought so much joy to our little family and your smile is just the sweetest thing in the world! It’s our prayer that you never lose that joy! You are so love, Ethan Michael – my heart could burst! We can’t wait to see how much more you grow and change this next year! Happy birthday, baby boy!

Here’s a look at what he’s been up to lately:

• Talking a lot more – saying: banana, ball, bottle dada, mama, Em, Elly (I-E), thank you, more
• Finally staying in the church nursery
• He is on the go – crawling, cruising and gorilla walking all over the place
• He loves climbing the stairs and sliding backwards on his belly
• He started throwing some little tantrums when he doesn’t get his way (always surprises me how young this starts!)
• Loves balloons (found that out at his birthday party last weekend)
• Also loves rolling balls back and forth with us or throwing Elly her ball
• Eats everything and more than Emily
• He loves waving hi and bye to anyone and everyone
