How do we have a 5 month old?! This is crazy – and this month flew by with all the crazy house stuff going on…packing, selling and moving, that is! But here we are, 5 months into this journey as parents…learning more and more everyday! She is still having trouble with the reflux – making her not want to eat sometimes which has led to some extra emotional days for me, but she’s still pretty amazing, adorable and incredibly happy (when she’s not eating)! Let’s take a look at this month!

• We started solid food (cereals, that is) and she is loving it! It definitely doesn’t seem to affect her reflux as much…
• She rolls! Both ways!!
• We bought her an Exersaucer because she was getting bored during playtime just on the mat – from the first time we put her in it, she’s been having a blast with it
• She loves putting her feet in her mouth
• She also loves pulling hair (mine and Elly’s included), earrings, necklaces…just about anything she can get her little hands on
• We thought she was teething last month and still no teeth…I know it’s early but this girl can drool like nobody’s business and is chewing on everything
• Oh she also likes grabbing other people’s hands and putting them in her mouth to gnaw on the knuckles
• She’s been “talking” a lot more lately
• She likes to sit up (with the help of some pillows behind her) and stand holding onto the couch
• She gave us some really great belly laughs for the first time this month – is there anything cuter than a baby laughing?!
• She loves bunny! – Any stuffed animal really but bunny is like naptime magic!

Here she is coming in at 14 lbs 7 oz
