It’s April, and I still can’t seem to wrap my head around it. After all, it snowed here in Pittsburgh last week! But, ready or not, it’s April indeed, and we’ve got a whole slew of things going on this month…let’s take a look!

Happenings

• Finish the week here at the CONNECT retreat! (Can’t wait to share all about it on the blog next week)
• Our 2014 wedding season kicks off with 2 weddings this month! Woohoo!
• Easter and some much needed family time.
• Visiting my brother and his family in St. Louis (and knocking off ballpark #14)
• The launch of our new life group! We recently added 2 sweet couples and we can’t wait to see how the Lord works in our group.

Personal Goals

• Finish “A Woman After God’s Own Heart”
• Go to the gym 3x/week (I’ve been slacking a little with this one, but I’m running out of time…shorts and swimsuit weather is just around the corner – or so we hope)
• Try some new wedding day hairdos (may seem like a silly “goal” to some, but I’ve worn my hair the same way for about 6 years now…looking to freshen things up and keep my hair out of my face while shooting weddings – going to Pinterest for this one)
• Organize our budget and set timelines for when we can get some things we are looking at purchasing this year (i.e. new vanity for upstairs bathroom, new car and possibly a new driveway…oy vey)
• Tackle our yard and landscaping…let’s just say we’ve been neglecting it for too long. Time to trim the shrubs, rake the leaves (yeah…we didn’t get around to that last fall, so it’s time to play catch up), and work on some new landscaping in the front of our house and around the side.

Business Goals

• Start training and working with a gal who is going to be helping me with my editing this year!
• Plan a summer get together with our couples
• Create a subscription feed and newsletter for the blog (this one has been on the goal list for awhile…time to get it done)
• Purchase a camera upgrade for Mike and welcome another D3s into the AMP family!
