This weekend was filled with lots of Christmas preparations and celebrations! Friday, I sent out a bunch of Christmas cards and wrapped gifts, while Mike went out to finish some of the shopping. We spent our Friday night in with friends talking about everything from world news to how we want to raise our kids and everything in between. Saturday, we brought a carpenter friend to our new home to measure out our living room for built-ins, and later that night we put on our ugliest Christmas attire and spent the night celebrating with friends! Sunday, we grabbed lunch after church then I got to take some exciting announcement photos for some of our best friends!!! By that point, the busyness of the weekend had caught up to us, so we went home, put Em down for her afternoon nap and decided to put ourselves down for a nap as well – 2.5 hours later we woke up to Miss Emily jibber-jabbering in her crib. We spent the rest of the night FaceTiming with our friends from Oklahoma, making yet another ice cream trip to Sarris, and relaxing. Another great weekend in the books!

Some other random tidbits:

• We booked 2 more weddings this weekend!! We always love adding new couples to our family!
• Emily is starting to crawl on her knees! She’s been doing the army crawl for a couple months now, but it’s fun seeing her continue to learn new ways to get around.
• And for a #mishcasa update – drywall is up, they started laying the brick around the bottom of our house, and all of our goodies have been delivered and are waiting patiently in the garage until they are installed (we’re talking everything from the interior doors, cabinets, countertops to even our faucets and mailbox!! It’s getting real, friends!)
