HOW is it November?! We say that every month, don’t we? With November comes Christmas shopping (and music), choosing a new planner for 2016, and starting some goals for next year. But, before I get too far ahead of myself, let’s take a look at this past weekend!

Mike had the day off on Friday (we love that he has every other Friday off), so we did some furniture shopping and ended the night with some of our favorite pizza (Fiori’s, for you local folks) while catching up on Shark Tank and Modern Family after Em went down for the night. Saturday, we did some more furniture shopping – I should clarify that by “shopping” we mean “looking.” We’re not quite ready to pull the trigger, but we’re enjoying looking around to see what all is out there! Our Halloween was pretty laid back – a glass of wine and some a lot of chocolate. And yesterday after church, we hung out with our friends Steve and Krista (Our Europe travel buddies! Can’t believe it’s already almost been a year!) and showed them and Mike’s parents the house! We are loving the progress, but it’s official that we won’t be moving in until after the New Year. Looks like we have to take a one tear hiatus from our annual Christmas party. We ended the weekend with a much needed Skype chat with our dear friends from Oklahoma!

A couple other highlights from the weekend:

• Emily is crawling!!! She hasn’t quite perfected it, but our little lady is on the move!
• With all the excitement, she hasn’t been taking her bottles great (but is loving her pureed fruits and veggies) – reflux is the worst! Back to the doctor we go tomorrow.
• We dressed Em up as Batgirl – we picked up the costume off the clearance rack last year while I was pregnant – Batman has always been a little inside joke with Mike and I since we started dating, so it was fun to bring her into it!
