This weekend Mike and I spent time with our cousins from Maryland. We visited Annapolis, Georgetown DC, Nationals Park and downtown DC ! It was so great seeing them and meeting their adorable 13 month old for the first time.

Sunday we spent the day in downtown Annapolis. It was beautiful down there…lots of shops and cute little cafes and restaurants. We walked down by the bay, took some pictures and ended up at a delicious Mexican restaurant for lunch!

Monday we headed into DC and walked around Georgetown enjoying its charm and character, as well as more shopping and delicious cupcakes!

To top it all off, we ended the day Monday with the Dodgers vs. Nationals game at Nationals Park. For those of you that don’t know…Mike and I are trying to make it to all of the major league ballparks. This was number seven (Pittsburgh, Boston, Cleveland, Toronto, Baltimore, Tampa Bay) and although the Dodgers lost (big time), it was still a beautiful stadium and a great memory.

Mike and I decided to take the day off today to finish up our trip down there. We woke up bright and early to beat the DC traffic and got some Dunkin Donuts for the trip. We lucked out once again and missed the rain, so we were able to visit most of the memorials and monuments. Neither of us had been there since middle school, so we had a blast walking around DC and learning some things that just didn’t “click” when we were there 10+ years ago. Here are some of our favorites from the day!
