1. Waking up next to my husband every morning. I mean really…what could get better than that?
2. Other photographers who are willing to invest in me and teach me. Michelle Fulton and David Burke…I wouldn’t be where I am in my business today without David encouraging me to buy my first DSLR camera a couple years ago and teaching me how to use it on manual and without Michelle teaching me the ins and outs of running a business…from taxes to albums and everything in between.
3. Caffeine. It was an amazing weekend of learning and growth as a photographer; however, it was a long weekend indeed (seminars going on all day from 7:00a.m. to 11:00p.m.) and much caffeine was needed to make it through.
   
4. Warm days in February (seriously…in was in the 50’s in Cincinnati all weekend)
   
5. iPhone. Okay, so I know that’s a little pathetic, but it was so great having it at my hand during the conference this weekend. Lots of pictures taken, notes jotted, and pins added!
6. Girl time. As much as my missed Michael (which was a whole lot), I really did enjoy spending the weekend with 2 other ladies who love the Lord and love photography. It was great learning from each other and encouraging each other along the way.
7. Instagram. I know that’s cliche, but what can I say…I absolutely love it and am thankful I have a fun camera to capture everyday happenings when I don’t have my big cameras with me.
   
8. Clean water. It’s so easy to forget about the little things we have to be thankful for…like clean water. So many kids and families in the world are dying because they don’t have this. I cannot wait to get back to Kenya this summer with Michael.
   
9. Soup. I love soup, especially this time of year! I made some hearty stuffed cabbage soup last night and it rocks!
10. My clients. I am so thankful for every client I’ve had so far who have helped my business get off the ground! I’ve met some amazing people along the way and I know there are many more friendships to come.
