Mike and I had a blast traveling half way across the country together this weekend! And to kill two birds with one stone…here’s my ten favorites from our road trip!
- Being able to keep it a surprise and seeing Mike’s reaction when he realized we were going to the Coldplay concert!
- Knocking ballpark #9 off our list with Target Field (home of the Minnesota Twins)
- Finishing Catching Fire via audio book (…it was soo good!)
- Seeing Notre Dame’s campus (followed by some Rocco’s Pizza)…a fun little something extra I snuck into the weekend for Michael.
- Riding roller coasters in the middle of a mall (and I’m talking legit rides!)
- Seeing the Mall of America and being moderately overwhelmed!
- Breakfast at The Lowry in Minneapolis on Sunday morning (Eggs Benedict for me and Cakes, Eggs, and Bacon for Mike)
- Driving through/into 6 states (Pennsylvania, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Wisconsin, Minnesota)
- Breakfast at The Bongo Room in Chicago on Monday morning (White Chocolate Carmel Pretzel Pancakes for Mike and Red Velvet Hotcakes for me!)
- Getting away for an amazing long weekend with just me and my husband!
