We were wedding-free this weekend and couldn’t have been more excited to make our way to St. Louis to visit our sweet baby nephew for the first time! So, without further adieu, here’s our weekend highlights!

• A 9 hour car ride to St. Louis on Friday (complete with 5 more episodes of Parenthood…thank you Netflix)!
• Meeting our new nephew, Isaac!
• Visiting with my childhood friend and her family!
• 2 Dairy Queen Blizzards (not in one day…we’re not that bad!)
• Church with the whole family!
• Mexican for lunch (complete with the best queso dip we’ve ever had and some fish tacos – I’ve been working on expanding my taste for seafood)
• AND…I registered for the Pittsburgh Great Race 10K for September! (A little nervous, but excited to check another thing off my bucket list)

Mike flew home last night to go back to work today, while I stay here in St. Louis till tomorrow, spending a couple more days with Mister Isaac! I am so thankful that I am able to work while I am away during times like this and also so thankful for any and every chance I get to spend with my brother, his wife, and our new nephew (especially with the distance between us)!

And now, to explain today’s blog title…The only iPhone pictures I took this weekend were of Mike and Isaac (Ike)! And I will spare you guys the other 50+ pictures I took of Isaac this weekend!
