As we mentioned in yesterday’s blog post, we spent the last week on an Eastern Caribbean cruise with our life group! We booked this cruise last March and have anxiously awaited our week away in paradise ever since! With Mike and I, as well as Joelle and Alex (who run Shady Elms Farm), in the wedding industry, going on a summer vacation wasn’t really an option, so we all decided to vacation together as an “end of wedding season” getaway! It was so amazing to unwind, unplug and relax without any distractions or to-do lists! With how busy Mike and I have been this year, we were SO thankful for all of the time we got to spend together, whether we were just laying out under the tropical sun or dressing up for dinner and a show at night! It was much needed and a good reminder that we need to protect our time together now that we’re back home in the everyday hustle and bustle. The weather was perfect, the food was delicious (and abundant), and we just had a great time vacationing with some of our closest friends! Enjoy some pictures from our cruise below!

We “docked” in the middle of the ocean for our first island in the Bahamas and took tenders to the island…
