Before we get to all the things we’d love to do this fall, we wanted to look back and see how we did with our summer bucket list…

Our Summer Bucket List:

• Kennywood
• Three Rivers Arts Festival
• Kayaking on the rivers downtown (negative on the Pittsburgh rivers, but we kayaked in downtown Chicago, so we are counting that as a win)!
• Visit three MLB ballparks (Chicago, San Francisco, Oakland)
• Drive-in with the Life Group (we try to hit up the drive-in at least once each summer)
• Boating with the Life Group
• Cedar Point
• Wine and Canvas Painting date night – doing this Friday! Woohoo!
• Lots of cookouts (I wouldn’t say we had lots of cookouts, but definitely enough to keep us happy!)
• Paint our entryway closets and touch up the baseboards and railings throughout the house
• One Republic Concert
• A trip to the Pittsburgh Zoo
• Cinema in the Park (we used to do this a lot in college)

Not bad, but we have room to improve! Knowing how busy our fall is ahead of us…we don’t want to set ourselves up for failure, but here are some things we hope to do over the next couple of months…

Our Fall Bucket List:

• Bake (edible) homemade pumpkin bread (attempted this earlier this week and it was a fail – I’ll take any good recipes you have!)
• Go to a festival (either the Apple Festival or Pumpkin Festival – feeling nostalgic from when I was a kiddo)
• Go pumpkin picking and carve a pumpkin
• Go apple picking and make apple pie and homemade applesauce
• Go to as many Pitt football games as our schedule allows…
