I had been looking forward to this past weekend for a while now for my college roommate to make the trip to Pittsburgh for a visit and to see the new house! We went shopping on Friday then came back home for a night in with pizza and a Redbox movie! Saturday morning I woke up not feeling great, but we went out to breakfast to one of my favorites, Bartram House Bakery. We came back home, relaxed on the couch and watched some Gilmore Girls. Kait left around lunch time to meet up with another friend and head back home. And for the rest of the day, I was stuck on the couch, so sick! I have never had anything quite like that before. Mike was amazing and took care of Em and me all day! So thankful for God’s timing because I’m not sure what I would’ve done if this happened on a day I was home by myself with Em. I woke up Sunday feeling better, still achy, but nothing like Saturday. I stayed on the couch most of the day Sunday as well, but got outside for a walk around the neighborhood to enjoy some of the beautiful weather. It wasn’t how I thought the weekend would look, but sometimes you need a little something like that to slow you down I guess! Here’s to a great week! Happy Monday, friends!
